Our Boogie Basic is a great value in hose-mount filters: Featuring excellent build-quality with a 100% Activated Carbon block filter membrane, (no KDF material), the Basic is designed to perform capably with an approximate 10,000 gallon lifespan. While the lack of a KDF membrane does somewhat limit the Basic’s chloramine reduction capacities, it will still help! The Activated-Carbon block possesses good all-around chemical reduction properties and functions as a first-line defense against free chlorine and heavy metals.

Depending on which model you elect to purchase, (they all represent excellent value), our Boogie-Blue filters will effectively scrub anywhere from 10,00 to approximately 50,000 gallons of water of up to 99% of the chlorine and 87% of the chloramine compounds used in municipal water supplies. Using advanced materials like catalyzed carbon and, in our  PLUS+ model, generous quantities of highly effective KDF 85 & KDF 55 copper-based filtration membrane, the Boogie Blue family of water filters will perform the specific duty of removing compost tea’s #1 enemy, (chlorine), admirably!…….For most Tower Gardeners, this means a year or more of service…..
